Hi-line Aqua was founded in 1993 by the late Dr. S. Vasudevan, one of the pioneering aquaculture professionals in India and a founding member of the Society for Aquaculture Professionals. He developed and identified quality healthcare products for shrimp using his vast research and field experience.  

He and his team at Hi-line Aqua helped Dr. David Moriarty, the father of shrimp probiotics, greatly in the late 1990s in establishing the use of the probiotics that Dr. Moriarty had developed. Out of this association was born our BACIMOR range of high-quality probiotics which were personally formulated by Dr. David Moriarty.

The Hi-Line Aqua group, led by the late Dr. Vasudevan, were very supportive in promoting the benefits of my technology in the late 1990s and continued to do so.
